Meet Dr. John W. Spurlock, M.D.

Dr. John W. Spurlock is a Board certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in August of 2013 he became one of the first doctors in the United States to achieve Board Certification in the new Sub-Specialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Spurlock graduated from Drexel University with highest honors in 1980 and went on to Jefferson Medical school in Philadelphia where he graduated summa cum laude in 1984. He began his career as an OB/GYN at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, culminating as Chief Resident in 1988. Dr. Spurlock went on to a Fellowship at Emory Medical Center from 1994-1995.

Dr. Spurlock began The Continence Management Institute of the Lehigh Valley in 1995, working at Palmerton Hospital, St. Luke's Univeristy Hospital, and finally opening his own private practice in 2005.
